Native Aberdeen Angus Breeding Heifers Available Individually or in Even-Aged Batches
Welcome to Drumphin Farm.
Founded in 2003 by Jo and Osla Guest and now managed alongside the next generation, Olly and Lisa Guest, Drumphin Farm is home to one of Scotland's largest Native Aberdeen Angus herds.
Today, the herd comprises approximately 200 breeding cows plus followers and is built around a simple breeding philosophy: producing moderate-sized, fertile and easy-fleshing cattle that thrive on grass-based systems. For more than two decades, we have focused on breeding functional, productive females with strong maternal traits, sound conformation and the ability to perform efficiently in commercial and pedigree herds alike.
Our Cattle.
The Drumphin herd is built around a clear breeding objective: producing fertile, moderate-sized Native Aberdeen Angus cattle that thrive on forage-based systems and deliver strong maternal performance.
The vast majority of our cows are registered pedigree Native Aberdeen Angus cattle. Through careful selection and a disciplined breeding programme, we continue to strengthen the herd with home-bred replacements that meet our standards for temperament, structural correctness, fertility and longevity.
Herd health is a key priority. We operate a closed herd policy wherever possible, with any introduced cattle sourced only from farms with equivalent high-health-status herds. Regular health testing and strict biosecurity measures help maintain the health and integrity of the herd, providing confidence for purchasers.
The majority of the herd calves in the spring, with a smaller autumn-calving group helping to ensure a steady supply of quality replacement females. This structured approach allows us to continue improving the herd while maintaining a consistent offering of breeding stock for sale..
